Sustainable wood construction meets a customised KNX solution at the Hertzallee 2 business park. The industrial building, which was built using sustainable wood construction methods, combines office and conference rooms, garages and storage areas. By integrating the innovative and flexible KNX system, the daily work processes of the various tenants from different industries are to be optimised and the needs of each tenant taken into account at the same time. The implementation of highly customised control solutions was a particular challenge, especially for the underfloor heating, window monitoring, RGB-W DALI control and a power supply with diagnostic function. In addition, a clear separation of the control of the KNX system between the tenants had to be ensured in order to guarantee conflict-free utilisation.

The decision was made in favour of a KNX system with MDT components, which impress with their user-friendliness, high functionality, quality and excellent cost-benefit ratio.
